RENTAL AGREEMENT
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: By placing an order, you agree to Sign Soiree’s rental policy agreement. Please review all terms of this rental agreement. All signs are for rental only and are the property of Sign Soiree, LLC. We encourage you to pose next to the display to take photographs of your celebration for social media, etc. We deliver/install your greeting the night before your event and pick up 24-36 hours later.
Cost:
Prices include 24-hour rental of the display, delivery, set up and pick up.
Additional days can be added to your reservation for $25 each additional day. Rentals are available for a maximum of 72 hours.
We will do our best to fill your order, whenever it is placed! Please note, orders placed less than 24 hours before delivery are subject to a $25 rush fee.
RUSH: A $10 convenience fee will be applied to all yard card reservations not completed (paid) 72 hours prior to installation.
DELIVERY: Please contact for delivery pricing outside out of East Baton Rouge and St. Tammany Parish ($0-$30).
HOLIDAYS: If you require yard cards to be installed or picked up on a holiday (New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day), a $15 fee will be charged.
Reservations/ Payment: A $50 deposit is required when making a reservation to confirm/hold your date.

Payments are typically made through Paypal. You will receive an invoice via e-mail. Please review all details carefully!
You may pay with a personal check one week prior to your reservation but it must clear prior to your reserved date.
By placing a reservation with Sign Soiree, LLC you are agreeing to all terms and conditions outlined in this document.
You will be invoiced for missing or damaged lawn display items.
$30.00 per missing, damaged, stolen sign, advertisement signs
$10.00 per missing or damaged metal sign stake
Preparation
Please water/soak your lawn in the days prior to delivery. A soft ground is necessary for installation. Give it a test! If a screwdriver can easily be pushed in all the way, you are good to go. If not, you need MORE WATER.
For our safety, please make sure someone at the home or location knows we will be delivering.
Pets need to be secure inside the home or a fenced area. Outside pets may cause a disturbance during setup and ruin the surprise.
Pet waste needs to be removed from the yard prior to installation.
Close blinds and limit barking dogs.
Turn off any sprinkler system for the evening. Sprinklers that run during the setup can knock cards over.
Our lawn displays require a grassy area to be displayed
Please have the grass cut before our crew comes to setup
Do not attach balloons to any part of the displays
Sign Soiree is NOT responsible for local city ordinances or violations for lawn greeting displays placed in the yard rented. Please check with your City Hall or Lawn Decoration Ordinances.
Deliveries:
Deliveries usually occur after dark and can be as early as 8 p.m. (during the winter) or as late as after midnight (if we have several deliveries) unless other delivery times have been arranged.
We cannot deliver during turbulent weather. If weather becomes an issue, we will contact you to make other delivery arrangements or issue a refund.
We reserve the right to photograph your yard card and use it for marketing or any other purpose.
All yard card setups include an advertising sign for Sign Soiree, LLC. This may NOT be altered or moved.
Weather Concerns:
All reservations are weather permitting. Frozen ground can make installation difficult and will be assessed throughout the winter.
If we are not able to install your card due to severe weather, you may apply that payment to another date or have a refund issued.
Severe weather may be severe thunderstorms with lightning, high winds, excessively cold windchills, and warnings of tornado outbreaks.
Safety and Care:
For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the lawn greetings display. The display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting, or playing on it. Please discourage all persons from playing on or around the display.
Please take pride in your lawn display and treat it with respect. DO NOT move the items.
DO NOT allow any lawn maintenance to occur near the cards. Grass clippings will stick to the cards and stain them and weed eaters can cause significant damage.
Do not throw lawn display items in the garbage or vandalize our signs. Even if you do not like the display gift given to you, these items are our property and business. It is best to notify the honoree to not harm the display, as you are still responsible for it.
Please protect the inventory from any damage that might be caused due to flying debris from lawn mowers, dogs, etc. Contact with string trimmers may cause damage as well.
Please DO NOT attach balloons to any part of the display. Balloons get hot in the sun. If a hot balloon blows against the signs, they may become damaged.
You are encouraged to pose next to the display to take photographs of your celebration. However, please DO NOT pull the signs from the ground.
Sign Soiree and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the setup or removal of any rental.
We are not responsible for vandalism in the form of the yard greeting being altered to inappropriate or profane words or phrases.
We reserve the right to photograph our cards and use them for marketing and other purposes.
Please leave the display out where we may pick it up without someone being home. If you need us to pick it up early, please contact Sign Soiree immediately. We will try to accommodate you. DO NOT MOVE IT YOURSELF.
Refund Policy:
If you must cancel your booking, you can choose to receive 1/2 of your booking rate as a refund with a 72-hour notice.
In the event of inclement weather, we may not be able to set up any lawn displays. Inclement weather includes lightning/thunderstorms, frozen ground, snowstorms, heavy rain, high winds and any other severe weather that would put us or our lawn display in harm’s way. In these cases, we will offer a full refund or reschedule for a different date.
We will issue a 40% refund if we cannot install signs because the yard is too hard/dry. Remember to water your yard.
No refunds will be given due to the client giving us the wrong address.
No refunds will be given due to the recipient requesting us to remove the lawn display.
No refunds will be given due to being denied access to a gated community.
No refunds will be given due to any animals that prevent the display from being set up.
No refunds will be given for circumstances that prevent us from setting up the display upon arrival, that are out of our control.
No refunds will be given if there is no grassy area located in the from yard and we are unable to physically set-up the display (we must have grass, signs cannot be set-up on parking lots, driveways or concrete). Set up is ONLY provided in the FRONT YARD, NO BACKYARD setup will be authorized.
